Chakra Sanchalan Kriya

Last month we had discussed the Viparitkarni Kriya wherein one reverses the pranic flow of the energy thereby causing excess generation of energy or prana in the body. This excess energy now has to be directed towards various energy transformers in the body which the ancients used to call the chakras. These transformers or chakras are visible to a clairvoyant as clearly as you see with your eyes. You may understand chakras like rotating lotuses each of a different colour, each responsible for the vital and motor functions of the body. These chakras directly control the physical body (annamaya kosha).

They also directly control our financial, emotional and vitals. The Chakra Sanchalan Kriya as explained by Yogi Ashwiniji aids in directing the excess prana generated by Viparitkarni, to the various chakras from where through Brahmcharya kriya and other secret kriyas this energy is directed by the practitioner towards Kundalini awakening or any other desired direction.

Sit in Vajra asana with your hands raised high. Your palms face upwards at the Sahastrar chakra, with eyes in Shambhavi Mudra (eyeballs rolled up looking at the centre of your eyebrows). Move your awareness upwards and then downwards stopping at each of the chakras momentarily and then be aware of all the chakras simultaneously. This Kriya will have the effect of directing the energy towards the chakras or the transformers. The positions of the hands wherein they face the Sahastrar chakra helps prevent any escape of energy from the Sahastrar and hence the energy is deflected back in the body. Follow this procedure seven times.

This is a very simple yet extremely powerful kriya which when done regularly over a few months brings about a beautiful balance in the being and the practitioner is blessed with immense power and glow.
Next month we will explain the Brahmacharya Mudra. After redistributing the excess energy through the Chakra Sanchalan Kriya this Brahmacharya Mudra is used for kundalini awakening and energy for preserving life or to add glow to your form or to any desired effect.
