Rohitas Batta, a resident of Sydney, Australia is affiliated with a number of community and business organisations. Prominent leadership roles held include being the founder president of GOPIO Sydney as well as the Technocrats’ Association of Australia. He is the governing council member and chairperson of the Communities Liaison Committee of United Indian Associations, the umbrella organisation of 23 Indian Australian Associations.
Mr Batta has been pro-active in organising mega community events and has been highlighting the concerns of PIOs/NRIs with federal, state and local governments and the high commissions/consulate offices. He has served as executive committee member of the Australia India-Chamber of Commerce for two years.
Mr Batta is the director of Batta Enterprises, Network Training Australia Pty Ltd, Indo-Australian Academic Collaborations, and president of PIO Foundation.
