Invest India

Invest India is the country’s official agency dedicated to investment promotion and facilitation. Set up as a joint venture between the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and State Governments of India, it is envisioned to become the first reference point for the global investment community. It provides granulated, sector-specific and state-specific information to the foreign investor. It also assists in expediting regulatory approvals, and offers hand-holding services. It assists Indian investors in making informed choices about investment opportunities overseas, especially relating to Africa.
