Both Mongolia and India take part in United Nations’ Peace Keeping operations. We view it as our contribution to the international and regional peace and stability. In a bid improve efficiency and skill of our troops we have formed UN training center for peace keepers where various training modules are being undertaken. One of them is as you have mentioned Nomadic Elephants which becomes pretty regular in recent years either in Mongolia or in India.

Apart from bilateral arena Mongolia and India enjoy close collaboration on regional and international arena including United Nations. In a way of exchanging views on issues of mutual interests as well as coordinating our positions. Are we expecting some business and / or trade delegations from Mongolia to India, and vice versa?

Recently, we had Mongolian national flag carrier’s delegation visited India and met their colleagues so expect a code sharing flights between Mongolia and India be commenced shortly. Another piece of news is initial talks between commercial banks are also going on so that transactions should be conducted fast and efficient manner. Given the growing prospective of economic cooperation and frequent flow of visitors we find direct links of commercial banks would become inevitably necessary.
