Hospitality unicorn OYO in January said the company’s corporate channel witnessed an 80 per cent increase in revenue in 2019 on a year-on-year basis. OYO, which counts Utkarsh Small Finance, Think & Learn (BYJU’S) and Extramarks Education among its over 8,400 clients, said its corporate channel contributes to over 30 per cent of the hospitality company’s total revenues. “The corporate travel segment is a key engine of growth for us and we are seeing strong demand for our standardised and affordable offerings from business travellers across India,”

Gaurav Ajmera, Chief Operating Officer, India & South Asia, OYO Hotels & Homes, said in a statement.

“We welcomed over 4,000 new corporations in 2019 and their trust in the brand is a testament to the value we are creating for our corporate customers,” Ajmera added. OYO’s travel solution for corporates, OYO B, caters to the young professional workforce in India with specialised offerings such as customised bookings, dedicated 24X7 customer care support and free cancellations.
