	Deepika Padukone makes a splash She’s the daughter of badminton champ Prakash Padukone. Now, she has her own calling card. After reigning the couture ramps as the nation’s numero uno supermodel, the movies were inevitable. She makes her movie debut as Shah Rukh Khan’s heroine in Om Shanti Om. At 20, Deepika is the most sought after faces in the modeling circuit. She has also appeared in several ads and Himmesh Reshammaiya’s music video some time back.

	Salman helps Sonam Kapoor duck Yuvraj bouncer The Saawariya team was supposed to ask cricketers some questions, when Sonam Kapoor jokingly asked Yuvraj Singh, who he was going out with that night. Yuvraj countered by asking her if she was free for the night. Fortunately Salman Khan who was also present at the function stepped in. Rushing in to rescue the distressed damsel, he grabbed the mike and said that the cricketer was going out with him that night. That sent everyone laughing and Sonam was spared the blushes.

	Aishwarya exit from Karan Johar next. Everyone was betting on the tenure of the marriage. The pundits were calling it a doomed liaison. But the Jodi No 1 Ash and Abhi, they wanted to spend as much time with each other as possible. So Abhi and Ash decided to do the wisest of the moves, work with each other. But then rationalising with lovers was something even Plato could not succeed at. So whether Abhishek worked on ‘Sarkar Raj’ (Ram Gopal Varma’s sequel to ‘Sarkar’) or Mani Ratnam’s next, Ash was his consort for real and for reel.

	Did Aamir And Wife Kiran Ever Split? It was widely reported in the media that not all was well between Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao. This emanated from the fact that Kiran wanted to direct a film with Aamir but she wasn’t getting the green signal from her hubby. Aamir was asking her to rework the script. This led to differences and ego clashes between the two. Though Aamir tried to rubbish these rumors by saying, “Kiran will direct soon. I was bowled over by the script”, it didn’t work with the media.

	Shahid still hopes to get Kareena back So far, Shahid Kapur had managed to avoid the ever-watchful rumour mills after the news of break-up with Kareena Kapoor hit the newsstands. But a close friend of Shahid who was with him in Toronto, reveals, “Shahid started behaving strangely after news of his break-up appeared. Shahid is a big prankster otherwise, but he suddenly went quiet. He isn’t the same as earlier.” Infact Shahid was optimistic about getting Kareena back in his life despite her having made up her mind on dumping him for Saif Ali Khan. The deserted lover boy was making all possible efforts to woo her back. When Shahid was busy shooting in Toronto he was bombarding Kareena with sentimental text messages and e-greetings every day. But Kareena has not responded to a single one of them reveals a close pal of Shahid.
