AUGUST 2017

Israel has been a forerunner in multiple sectors of technology, earning a reputation of being one of the most innovative nations in the world. Harnessing its strength in disruptive technologies in Waste-water Treatment, Water Control and Measurement Systems, Solid Waste Management, Homeland Security Solutions, Smart Transport Solutions and Smart Health Solutions - Israel has emerged as a leader in the Smart City arena. The city of Tel Aviv was bestowed the title of "Best Smart City in the World" at the Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona in 2014. Another reason for such grand success is Tel Aviv Municipality's constant aim to improve the quality of life of its residents through understanding the residents' needs.

FEBRUARY 2017

Currently celebrating 25 years of diplomatic relations, India and Israel's growing partnership is deeply rooted in our defense cooperation. Israel was among the first to actively join the 'Make in India' initiative on the ground, and I am happy to see more and more Israeli firms finding partners in India's industries and contributing together to the safety and security of our nations

-H.E. Mr Daniel Carmon, Ambassador of Israel to India

OCTOBER 2016

Israel is a hotbed of pioneering technologies, profitable business opportunities, and high investment returns. We are committed to openness as a strategic approach, a strategy that has contributed to Israel's impressive economic growth and its increased economic efficiency in recent years. Indian companies are already amongst many leading international companies that have chosen to invest in Israel. These companies enjoy not only access to Israeli cutting edge technologies and out of the box thinking for their R&D, but also major benefits offered by the government to foreign investors. We're offering countless programs and services designed to simplify the process of investment and magnify the investor's profits, as well as specific programs dedicated to the Indian market. Bringing together the Israeli and Indian private sectors is a major task for me and a top priority for the Embassy's Trade Office.

AUGUST 2016

We are striving to build a sustainable partnership where both Israelis and Indian benefit from it in their daily lives. Water is the next - even current - 'hot' item on our joint agenda. Founded on a dry strip of land, Israel suffers chronically from water shortage, yet we ‘greened' the desert with yield amongst the highest in the world, paralleling with water-rich nations. Behind this success story lies an integrated endeavor of government, business sector, academic sector and the general public. I am working with our Indian partners, from all sectors, to bring this knowhow and Israeli water technologies to India.

-H.E. Mr Daniel Carmon, Ambassador of Israel to India

JUNE 2016

In the last 25 years since the establishment of our diplomatic relations we have found India to be a true friend, a reliable ally in various fields you've mentioned. Today, the areas of defence, agriculture, commerce, people-to-people contact combine to form the big puzzle called bilateral relations.

-H.E. Mr Daniel Carmon, Ambassador of Israel to India
