Select The Country:

Make in India is a unique and ambitious initiative. Launched only several years ago, it became instrumental in increase of production capacities of India and its transformation into a global hi-tech manufacturing hub with obvious competitive advantages. Russia entirely supports India's modernization policy. We had been committed to its principles long before it became mainstream and even was officially announced. It is well-known that we successfully develop such joint projects as Brahmos and Kudankulam NPP. In June 2017, Make in India was presented at the prestigious St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). Russian companies' keen interest in joining various manufacturing sectors within Make in India is increasing right along.

Throughout the year Russia and India celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the cordial diplomatic relations which had been established even before India became independent. Our countries were the first to achieve unique level of bilateral interaction - the special and privileged strategic partnership that manifests itself in unprecedently warm people-to-people contacts and the fruitful multidimensional cooperation. Russia has always wanted to see India strong. Starting from the first industrial projects implemented in the 1950s, like the giant Bhilai steel plant, our companies and business continue to render active assistance in rapid industrial development of the country.
