DIPLOMATS TO INDIA EMPIRE
Select The Country:
SAINT KITTS AND NEVIS
JUNE 2026
My Government's decision to establish a diplomatic presence in Delhi is predicated on its desire to deepen our bilateral relationship, strengthen the bilateral partnership, work more closely on issues of common interests, as well as in international forums, explore and develop opportunities for Indian investment in Saint Kitts and Nevis, and importantly, to build awareness in India for Saint Kitts and Nevis as a tourism destination and an opportunity for safe investments.
My Foreign Minister and Saint Kitts and Nevis were very grateful to External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar for his role in the opening of the New High Commission. I believe that the relationship between our two countries remains robust, and we are confident that going forward, this relationship will be integral to Saint Kitts and Nevis's determination to transform itself, in the next decade, into a fully sustainable island state, focused on several strategic priorities such as energy transition, food and nutrition security; sustainable settlements; health and social protection; circular economy; sustainable industry; and water security. India can play an outsize role in this transformation by providing technical assistance, expertise, investment and other relevant support
-H.E. Mr. Gurdip Dev Bath, First resident High Commissioner of Saint Kitts and Nevis to India
