The AI Summit in New Delhi opened new perspectives of cooperation. International Diplomacy has been beneficial from this new modality and Uruguay hopes to develop new forms of dialogue with India in this important matter.

Our country consistently ranks among the leading innovation ecosystems in Latin America, supported by strong institutions, talent development, and forward-looking public policies."

Uruguay and India are two democratic countries. India is the biggest democracy in the World and Uruguay is very well respected for its conduct in International matters. Uruguay has a long standing relationship with India and shares similar democratic values, the defense of International Laws, and the promotion of human rights and non-violence policies. We hope India will be more involved in the Latin American and Caribbean developments to expand trade, investment and culture.
