Belarus—India Bilateral Ties

The Belarusian-Indian relation is one of friendship and comprehensive cooperation based on the principles of high trust and mutual benefit. It serves the fundamental and long-term interests of the two countries.

Belarus considers India as a key partner in South Asia, both in political and economic terms. The evidence of this is in the similar position and support of many initiatives of our countries in the international arena, impeccable fulfillment of bilateral agreements, i.e. real commercial projects and contracts.

Next year is noteworthy for us. It is going to be the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and India. And over a period of all these 30 years, our ties are marked by mutual understanding, high credibility and confidence.
