“A new tenure for Narendra Modi as Prime Minister represents an opportunity for Argentina to continue engaging with India with the same strength and strategic vision that we enjoy, particularly since the State Visit of our President Mauricio Macri last February. We are sure that his renewed leadership will give both of our countries a deeper involvement and understanding between each other, and that the bilateral ties will continue to develop in a consistent manner, with a focus in areas such as food security, energy security and technology exchanges. We hope that with this premise, and as countries that share the same core values (democracy being one of them) Argentina and India can tackle together the challenges that lay ahead”
