The government declared the state of emergency, which ended on 24 June and took a number of strong measures since the outbreak. As the numbers go down, the “lockdown Exit strategy” has been launched in different phases in order to shape the post-COVID-19 times.

Personally, I have been in auto-quarantine since 23 March as the “Luxembourg House” in Jor Bagh hosts the Embassy and Consulate as well as my Residence. I am particularly happy to say that the Embassy was able to assist all our stranded citizens and continued to work during these challenging times on a remote and rotation basis. It was and is as well a time to catch up with unfinished business, launch new projects and initiatives, have the pleasure to organise such interviews and try to assist those in need as much as possible to avoid the spread of the pandemic.
