Indian envoy urges Pakistan to hand over terror leaders Masood Azhar and Hafiz Saeed

Tel Aviv: India’s Ambassador to Israel, J.P. Singh, has called on Pakistan to hand over terrorist leaders Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar, citing decades of cross-border terrorism.

In an interview with i24NEWS, Singh highlighted the involvement of Pakistan-based groups in major attacks, including Mumbai 2008 and Pulwama 2019. He questioned why Pakistan can’t act if the U.S. can extradite Tahawwur Rana.

He also referenced Operation Sindoor, launched by Indian forces after the April 22 Pahalgam attack, stating the counter-terror mission is paused but ongoing. Singh said India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty was a response to Pakistan’s ongoing support for terrorism. “Blood and water cannot flow together,” he stated, asserting India’s new offensive approach to cross-border terror threats.
