Nairobi: India’s High Commissioner to Kenya Adarsh Swaika met Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya, Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle, discussing bilateral cooperation and regional developments.

The meeting follows MoS Kirti Vardhan Singh’s discussion with Somalia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs on the sidelines of the 19th NAM Mid-Term Ministerial in Uganda.

Swaika also offered prayers at the BAPS Temple on the Gujarati New Year, Bestu Varas, in Nairobi. The temple is the largest BAPS Temple in Africa.

Acknowledgements

The High Commission thanked Kenyan President William Ruto for his Diwali greetings, highlighting India’s cultural heritage and the universal message of unity.

Swaika also met Tanzania’s High Commissioner in Kenya, Bernard Y Kibesse, noting strong and growing India–Tanzania relations.
