Indo-Canadians Shine Abroad

New Delhi: BJP National Spokesperson Pratyush Kanth said NRIs are ambassadors of Indian culture, crucial to achieving “Viksit Bharat@2047.” Speaking at the presentation of “Great Indo-Canadians” by journalist Gurmukh Singh in March, Kanth lauded the contributions of Indians abroad.

The book highlights achievers including V.I. ‘Lucky’ Lakshmanan, Ramesh Chotai, Satish Thakkar, Anil Shah, and Surjit Babra, who have excelled in science, entrepreneurship, real estate, and aviation, while giving back through charity. The stories demonstrate enduring ties to Indian culture and global impact. Singh, a former Times of India Special Correspondent and IANS Canada Correspondent, documented these contributions with engaging visuals and narrative flow.
