South Indian Cuisine - South Indian cuisine includes the cuisines of the five southern states of India Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. The traditional food of South India is simply delicious and easily digestible. Famous dishes from all five states are moilee, appam, puttu, chemmen theeyal, bisi bele bhath, halu payasa (kheer), dosai, uppittu (upma), gongura maas, chepalapulusu (fish curry), pulihora, tamarind rice, egg pulusu, nalli massam, kalpasi, maratti mokku, chicken chettinad and corgi pandi curry.
