He spoke about India’s transformational growth over the past 11 years in infrastructure, manufacturing, healthcare, green growth and women’s empowerment.

The MEA said the Prime Minister noted that India is preparing itself for the 21st century through a world-class innovation, startup and Digital Public Infrastructure ecosystem, adding that UPI, which accounts for nearly 50 per cent of global digital payments, was a matter of pride.

Youth, education and future-ready partnership

The Prime Minister acknowledged the growing footprint of the Indian community and its role in fostering stronger relations with host countries. The gathering included more than 700 students from Indian schools, which are celebrating 50 years of establishment in Oman this year.

Thanking the community for a warm and colourful welcome, PM Modi said India’s diversity is the foundation of its culture and enables Indians to assimilate seamlessly across societies.
