Peru has much to offer to anyone with an interest in history, culture, nature as well as gastronomy, and an arduous effort is being made such that Peru as a tourist destination takes centre-stage not only because of Machu Picchu but also as a destination for eco-tourism, luxury, shopping and of course adventure.

The relationship between India and Peru tends to become closer consistently because such relationship is based on a firm basis together with supporting factors from various dimensions such as political will and economic necessities. Within such scenario, I consider that the shared goal of our two countries should be to develop a strategic partnership taking into consideration that despite geographical distance we share common values, similar history as cradle of civilization and visions about democracy, law, respect and international peace and security, the widest cooperation, human interchange, market economy and mutual benefits. Our economies are complementary. A Common bilateral agenda is the tool to reach such partnership to jointly work to achieve common cooperation goals.
