The very fact that you would not find anyone who is emotionally congested (for a period of time) and yet remains healthy in the long run, substantiates the above. Detachment is the key. To begin with, you can decongest the Surya Chakra with the following simple technique. Take your awareness to the surya chakra, which constantly forms connections with whomever you see, meet or interact during the day. It is situated in the centre where your rib cage ends. Simply take your right hand as if it were a knife and cut your connections. Incidentally, if you do this practice before you go to bed, your sleep will be deep and restful. It has been observed that the regular practice of Sanatan Kriya helps decongest the chakras and brings a beautiful flow and balance of prana in the being. Relief from chronic ailments happens to be one of the byproducts of this practice.
