Colombia and India established diplomatic relations in January 1959 and celebrated 60 years of partnership in 2019. Over the years, bilateral agreements in trade, science, technology, defence, IT, tourism, space, health, traditional medicine, and culture have deepened cooperation. Increasing interest among Colombians in Indian festivals, dance, music, gastronomy, and spirituality demonstrates the growing cultural engagement between the countries.
