Set against the tranquil backdrop of Lake Geneva, the gathering offered a reminder of India’s expanding role in global affairs. No longer viewed simply as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies, India is increasingly seen as an indispensable participant in conversations about economic resilience, climate action, technological transformation and global governance. Modi’s presence at the summit reflected a broader reality: India’s voice is now expected to be part of major international discussions, not as an observer but as a contributor.
