“My relationship with Gurudev is intense and intimate”

Groomed directly by Swami Rama, one of the greatest sages of the Himalayas, Dr Vijay Dhasmana, the Vice Chancellor of the SRHU, oversees daily activities at what is the largest medical campus in the state of Uttarakhand. He speaks to India Empire magazine’s Editor and Publisher Sayantan Chakravarty in an interview from Dehradun

Our University has grown horizontally and vertically; equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, we are working purely for society with no commercial agenda. The tuition fees from students and the consultation fees from patients are reinvested into the operations and capital expenditures for the organic growth of the campus. Our fees are reasonable and our doctors and faculty are not under any revenue target-oriented pressures. The motto of the organization is to work skillfully, selflessly and lovingly.
