We feel that knowing the right path is very important for the growth of every individual. The path is one of self-discovery including exploration of spiritual and humanistic dimensions. We have successfully included this aspect in our University.

Every student at the University is guided through a workshop on “Science of Joyful Living”, the modules of which have been developed based on the teachings of Gurudev HH Swami Rama. Through the workshops, the students get to learn and reflect that while material resources are required for one’s comfort; continued accumulation should not be the final goal of life. Success in life should not be measured by accumulation of wealth. Through selfless service to mankind, one can achieve real happiness and bliss. Students at SRHU are also taught basic yoga and meditation.

We have extremely encouraging feedback from students who have brought a subtle shift to their lifestyle by implementing the experiential learnings from this workshop. Happiness and living joyfully becomes a core value of their being.
